Screen-printing on t-shirts

Screen-printing or silk screening, usually uses a custom prepared stencil. It is  made up of silk, nylon or a stainless-steel mesh. Ink  passes through this area, but not through the other part of the stencil, which is contained inside a frame.  The printing surface is placed under the frame on a flat surface. Forcing the ink through the screen area with a rubber squeegee, makes the desired impression.  Heavier coverage is achieved with more permeable holes, which  allows more ink to pass to the apparel surface.

Screen-printing t-shirts is one of the most common applications used for silk screening.  With the help of a good tee-shirt designer ,your ideas can come to life on a quality T shirt like never before.  All you need is a good idea, then the rest of the process is easy.  Screen-printing  or silk screening on dark tee shirts may require a white under base to let  colors remain vibrant. Screen printing costs depends on the number of colors to be silk or screen- printed on the t-shirts. Reducing the colors in the design of the t shirt, and it will reduce the number of screens needed, which will SAVEyou money!!
